Positive: We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the friendly welcome and the big room. The location is countryside as there is no big town about but we knew that, so we stayed in this lovely rural retreat. The location is right next to a lovely stream and the views of the night sky are spectacular. The host was very welcoming and helpful and full of local knowledge. The room was super comfortable, loads of space, very clean and the free Netflix was welcome in the evening.
Negative: There are quite a lot of steps down to the room (we don't know if there is an alternative way to get down), so it was tricky carrying our suitcases up and down. This was not helped by the fact that there was scaffolding erected all around the house which would have been even more of a problem if we were very tall. Also, as the house is so far from the nearest store, having more than just tea & coffee in the room (we stayed in a similar property in Picton and they provided a fridge with breakfast food) would have been a great touch, but we had to drive out for breakfast each day.
Summary: Beautiful home, gorgeous location, big room, free parking, lovely host, lots of steps.
